There are scores of articles from a wide variety of sources about the connection between our abuse of animals and the current Coronavirus. While it seems hurtful to rub salt in a wound that is wide open at this time, this article is very brief and gets right to the heart of the matter; what is harmful to animals ultimately comes back to harm us, humans.
While many of us smugly condemn the wet markets common in some Asian cultures, it is time for us to take a look at our own culture, and what we call food and how we raise it.
